Creak or Squeak or Rattle rear window hot day
only happens on a hot day. I can't find it. it's not the sun shade. it does it up or down.
it is louder when the past door is open in the center section

Yup I get that too! Extremely annoying!
I have a suspicion that it is coming from the trunk. I think its the lever that opens the trunk from the inside because when I shake it, it makes a similar noise.
And yes, only happens on a hot day. After you drive around for a little bit, the noise goes away until the next day!

My '06 IS 250 was doing the same thing since Spring began when it was
sunny and temps were above 50F.
It started out as a loud tick/pop when driving over bumps or uneven pavement.
After a couple of weeks the sound turned to a creak. And after a few more
bumpy rides, it's now gone. I had a Lexus tech ride with me, he heard it but
it was faint, the sound had diminished over time. I'd say monitor it for a few
weeks/month and see if the noise changes.

I have not heard of this problem yet at the Dealer. Maybe becasue I live in Connecticut and it has not been that hot up here, but when I get the TSB, I will try to post it.

I have the same problem too. So what exactly is done to fix this. want to get this taken care of when i go for my next oilchange which is in about 100 miles. Do they replace all the clips?

Shoot, problem seems to be difference in my case. Well, hot day, I turn on my
A/C then I hear something clicking and clicking from the dashboard or elsewhere, don't know yet. Anyone has this problem. I can only hear for the first 5 mins then after that it is gone. Im still thinking if I want to take my car
to the dealer again. BTW, they fixed my rattle last 3 months.

Same problem here squeeks and creaks from the rear window. My car is acctually at the dealer right now to get it fixed (i hope!) at the same time they are going to do the TSIB for the dashboard rattle.

Same problem here squeeks and creaks from the rear window. My car is acctually at the dealer right now to get it fixed (i hope!) at the same time they are going to do the TSIB for the dashboard rattle.
