Default I couldn't believe it...

So I let my friends kid play around inside my car, like a dumba$$ I am, and he ejects my map disc. So now I have to remove the clock assembly to get to the disc to push it back. As I removed the assemply I thought of my GM DVD map disc that I have in my room so I jus ran upstairs and tried it. And guess what, it worked! I couldnt believe it. All points of intrest and so on worked, the only thing that didnt work were voice prompts. There were probably other things that didnt work but for that while I had it in there it seemed all basic things worked. I thought it wouldnt accept this DVD at all but I was wrong.

I thought I would share this info with you guys. Might be useful

regards, Bart.

There is a button on the upper right hand corner of the screen when you get into the Nav info (where a "return" button usually is on other screens). Press it and it ejects the Nav DVD.
