Default Glacier Frost Mica DISCONTINUED for the 350 ??!!?

Just found out from a dealer that GFM is discontinued for the IS350. It is still available for the 250's.

Is this true?

Maybe they'll offer a similar color and call it something else?

Nope, just sticking with the basic, more popular colors: black, grey, white, silver, blue, red

I heard that the IS350 was coming in manual transmission with all wheel drive and a V8 with 500HP from my dealer.

Heresay from a dealer, is not worth the air that is used to create the sentences. I hope that they do discontinue GFM. There are too many around here for my tastes.

Why would he lie about a discontinued color? What's the motive?

Your dealer's info is incorrect. GFM is still available for all models in '07. It was discontinued on '06 IS250 manuals at the end April but still scheduled to appear on all models for '07 production. In addition, there are a couple of color changes. There will be 2 different blacks in '07..the new one being a pearlescent black. Blue onyx looks to be discontinued and possibly replaced by a different blue. Mystic Gold is replaced by Golden Almond Metallic.

Do you have this information in writing? How are you sure?

I dont know about that. Dont have any proof, but its not like the GFM is selling bad, for the IS or GS.

However if they are adding a new Blue(and what you sat is true), I PRAY its the Blue from the concept model they were showing at all the autoshows this year!!

Doubt it. Low production color, Yes.

Me thinks your dealer is trying to sell you on another color that is easier to get?

I have access to the '07 order sheets and GFM is still listed along with the color changes I wrote earlier. Plus there's also the addition of the "X" package which I posted previously. The X package is a stripped out sport package (sport suspension, 18" wheels, front air dam, illuminated sills, sport pedals, but DOES NOT include ventilated seats, HID,) This is available with or without the moonroof

magento that wasn't a concept model that was a car team lexus did with a BASF paint 2" drop custom exhaust. they could use that paint as it is readily available but its pretty damn expensive. so i'd doubt it.
