They all have pins... i.e. you'd need to bondo/sand/prime/paint/etc if you really wanted them removed.

Don't be ashamed of your IS250 and remove the badges and pretend it's a 350! IS250 owners unite - we know we made the best choice! (Tin hat on now).

Default Re & De badging

There are at least three pegs and holes in all of that rear end badging.

Go for the black pearl emblems. I have SGM and think the BP emblems tone down the chroming quite a bit, especially at night.

I have pics in the IS 250-350 GALLERY.

I have a 350 and would love to de-badge it, and would do it in a second if it was glued on. I just don't want to deal w/holes in the trunk.

Why do they attach these things with pegs rather than tape? Is it so you can't/won't remove the badging? I know that the 3M tape can hold a spoiler on for years with no screws can't see why the have to have pegs...

Default No consistency

My 04 GX 470 had all rear badges (sans the "L") attached with adhesive and I was able to debadge easily, and loved the look!

Why drill holes and use pegs on some of your vehicles and not others?

To remove them is very easy. Only 2 holes behined. You can ignore them.

i would do it but i wanna remove both bottom badges and the reason for debadging is to make it look smooth and clean....holes do not do that for me =P

Can you show us the holes. I may have something to take care of this 95% and will look good, esp on a black one. no paint or body work too.

Hey Eddiec, how you removed the 2 holes where the IS emblem once lie? I was thinking about removing the 2IS emblem and sticking the ALTEZZA sign instead. Anyone Know if that will cover the 2 holes??

I didn't do anything to the holes. I just leave them there because you won't see them unless you're very close to them. BTW, it won't become rusty because it is not steel. So just ignore them
