But you only answered part of his question! tgara wanted to know about Mr. Levenstein's audio system and what makes it special.

As a successful accountant, perhaps the proclivities that made so much money for the studios led him to select a 1974 Craig eight track player to hang under his dash, purchased at a yard sale for six cents, negotiated down from a dollar. What makes it special is the wonderful way it pauses in the middle of songs to switch to the next track, and the festive wreathes of creased tape that spew from the load slot when a tape wears out.

I haven't seen much of this, but the first time I saw my buddy turned on his Lexus GS350 with the Push Button, it was like an air engaging.. just watching that thing tilt out and ****... really something that stood out.. now other companies are starting to follow this trend as well (its on the Nissan Altima!! but not as cool)

What?? watching what tilt out and? IF you're talking about the steering wheel tilting out its been in many other cars before Lexus started it. If you're talking about just the start button thats been in the Merc since like 2000 of course not Standard... but it has been available... so its nothing new... Japanese copied it from the Germans.

Ok Flame suit on!

Push button start isn't seen much for my age group, at least where I live. So it was a wow for me and everyone I know.. What I meant was that it felt like it was engaging after you pushed the button.. Plus I sort of lived in the Ghetto area.. oh welll.. things are better, never look in the past, look in the future..

Of all the possible things, my dad was most impressed with the steering wheel moving up and out of the way when the car is turned off. He like the rear sunshade a lot too.

That is hillarious, "Nut Coolers!" I agree!!! It always gets a cool reaction in the summer months, especially with black leather. I use the heated seats more often in this artic winter temps we have in Chicago.

I get comments on a few...

1)People love the fact that I can tell my nav system that "I'm Hungry" and it will show all restaurants on the screen

2)Almost everyone who gets into my car at night comments about the blue illuminated scuff plates

3)The backup camera

Nothing really impresses any of my friends... they are really spoiled... 100k-300k cars are quote and quote "common cars" for them... when it starts getting into the $400k+ range is what they awe at... I bet when I get my Porsche 911 this summer they will be like why did you get that?
