Absolutely amazing pictures. Thanks for sharing! Now you need a 4th job to build a detached 10-car garage.

Cheers,

He got a steal, you can't even find totalled NSX's that cheap! That car should run about $32k if it is in pretty nice condition. Also, the 1991 model year is the first year the NSX's were sold.

Yeah I would have to agree with you, but I guess the seller figured it wouldn't be worth that much considering how old it was. This car was bought in the sticks of Southern PA, so maybe they just didn't know the true value of the car and only went off the KBB value. Would love to find a Supra at KBB.

Attached is a photo of the car he got along with my old EVO in the background.

Thanks for the compliments, I took a couple more pics. Regarding the 10-car garage, I'm working on something about 70% of that !

I guess I've got a thing for black cars.

The NSX's engine bay

A picture at a local domestic car show. The NSX looks pretty low next to a new Mustang.

Nice! Chances are that a used Corvette or Fbody is going to have a somewhat tired motor vs a brand new IS. The LT1 cars I've driven were pretty darn fast! I had a '92 Camaro and Corvette (Non LT1s) and which weren't nearly as quick as the IS. I haven't driven an LS1 equiped car but the fastest vehicle (not counting race cars) I've driven was a late model Mustang Cobra. That thing is pretty raw. The IS350 is such a sleeper though!

My wife is in love with the NSX. So much so that we looked at buying a used one but they are rare. Also looked at buying a 996 Porsche used but every bbs forum was littered with oil leak and other expensive service issues. I'm not shy about doing repairs myself but I'd rather do mods than repairs. So Hmm, used 325 hp small 996 that constantly needs repair or new 300 hp 4door (bring the wife and kid along) reliable Lexus. The IS won out. The Porsche will do .98g on the skid pad but other than that, I think there isn't much compromised in the IS350.
