Default Just got home with my new IS (added Picts, 750i and Landcruiser included)

I know it's illegal to post a new car with no pictures but my parents have the digital camera! I'll be taking some Sunday.

I got a IS250 SGM on Black. Nav, Premium, Cargo net etc. 37,791 out the door.

My 4Runner is still at their lot, I'll have to go get it some day.

Anyway thanks everyone for all the help. I am planning to get HIDs, red outs, and maybe fog blue outs (could look weird with SGM).

Thanks again!

Todd

Default Pictures!!!

Ok I sure hope these pictures work. Never done this before...

Anyway, I got some pictures of the new car. It's SGM so nothing new. But I do have pictures of my parents cars. A 750i and a Landcruiser.

My mom is jealous because she likes the SGM color better than her grey and the interior of my IS is nicer than her 750i. Also the Nav is a hell of a lot easier.

Anyway here are my picts!

Bob IS250 and Bob Landcruiser

Bob IS250 and Bob BMW

If you look carefully you can see a '84 528e.

Thanks for posting your pictures. I should do the same. Took delivery of my 350 on Thursday and just finished 2 days of detailing it. My wife thinks I've gone mad.

Sweet! I don't know how many ships ported recently, but it seems these have been rolling in daily. FYI, your mom's car isn't bad, but the 350 kicks it's *ss!!!

Well I have a 250 not a 350 unfortunately. I am not a huge power freak so the power increase didn't justify the price increase for me.

Even though the Nav and Interior is better on the IS, I rather have her car than any IS.

upbull, you should definitely post pics. And doesn't the car come detailed and waxed and all that good stuff? I know nothing about that. All I did was wash mine.

I did not know a Lexus and A Bimmer could be that close together with out coming to blows...
Very nice car. That color was my first choice, but I was getting out of a black 4Runner and just could not take another dark car.

Grey, not mine my crib. I live in a 650 sq ft apartment....

Phil, what year was your 4Runner? I just got out of a Sand Dune Metallic '96 4Runner. That's the tannish color, so I wanted to get a dark color.

I would have included the 4Runner in the shots but I left him at the dealership, they are driving the 4runner back up to me on Wednesday though. I will use it as a protector on one side to park my IS in my apartment parking lot.

It was an '03 Sport Edition. Talk about rock chips! I probably filled in 50 in the 3 years I had the truck. Nice ride and power though.

Phil, I love the 4Runner. My 10 yr old 4Runner runs like new still. It was my first and only car until a few days ago. I felt bad getting a new car when the 4Runner runs so well and is more practical since I can carry stuff. Only thing is that it gets bad gas mileage. I'll still have it around though.

TMF, I am in Sarasota. Those pictures are in Dade City (35 mins north of Tampa). I picked out and ordered the BMW for my mom, I kind of wish I waited for the '07 LS though. My mom is a 5'0 asian lady who drives below the speed limit. Why she has a 7-series..... not too sure. She is more into looks and comfort. And the Lexus wins in comfort at least. And the LS and 7 Series both look gorgeous on the outside, but the interior of the LS will be a ton better.

My dad had one of those, with BMW's 'eta' engine, the one designed and optimized specifically for low RPM driving. I always hated that engine - low RPM operation may be more efficient, but it sure isn't much fun. Put a 121 horsepower motor that hates to rev in a heavy five series body, and the result is a slug that can't get out of its own way.
