On the other hand, I do think a manual option should at least be available for those who bought the sport package, so as to better compete with the 3 series. In combination with better steering feel, I think it would only make sense to mate a manual gearbox to the potent 306hp engine.

Wow, didnt even think we would have that many 250 members here with the manual option. The majority of 250 models I have seen have been AWD, but I actually seen 3 manual models in parking lots and out on teh road. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I wonder if Lexus is meeting its manual tranny sales goals.

I just checked lexus.com and different packages for the 250 Manual show up for my zipcode. It shows Sport, Sport(w/Perferred Accessories), Nav(w/Premium pkg, 18's). Before you could only choose 18's and Perferred Accessories.

I have two IS250's RWD, 6SPD. One for me and one for the wife
I saw an IS250 RWD Matador Red with sport Pkg on Monday while I was at Lexus of Pleasanton.
The car is still there as of today but it's an auto with Cashmere leather
Also, they have one Tungsten pearl/black leather, no navi, 6SPD, RWD, 18" wheels on the lot.

there's an IS 250 manual with sport package on ebay. it's crystal white with cashmere. i believe this is the 3rd time it's been up for auction. i don't think anyone has hit their reserve yet. but they've kept dropping the price.

I got a Manual ordered in PA. Dealer showed me that only 11 manual trannys were delivered to the northeast as of April. I saw 3 MT in Ohio alone so region has some part to it (OH is Mid-West). The dealer in PA (NorthEast Region) said almost 80% of their IS Allocations are AWD.
I agree that this website is for enthusiasts and probably biased towards performance. Dealer allocation would be a better indicator.

I'm looking for an IS250 manual, went to a Prestige in Ramsey and they have two available, black and silver. Neighter color is my first choice but i might be able to work out a good deal with either color. Just need to sale my current car first and then we are in business.
Now pardon my silly questions, i really didn't do much homework about this car yet, but i thought that the RWD manual only came with the luxury package? I'm asking this beacuse looking at the website, when use the build your own option, only the luxury package comes up as an option. I would love to get my hands on a 6speed with sport package.

Well obviously this is an enthusiast forum thus there is likely more people partial to a manual than the general public, but according to this poll, there are as many manual as auto 250 owners, and taken into consideration the AWD only comes auto I'd say their manual sales are doing just fine.
