Not sure exactly what it is called but I called Wilde Lexus in Sarasota to ask about tinting. It's $189 for 5 windows and $20 for a strip on the windshield. Anyone have a picture of this? I have a SMG but any picts would be great of this.
Thanks,
Todd

For some people, the tint strip is outdated. For others, it's classic looking. It depends on what you want.
Personally, I would rather not have the tint strip in the front. I like the front of the car clean looking. Also, it's a good excuse to buy a new pair of sunglasses while driving around in SoCal.

In VA it's illegal to have a tint strip on the windshield without a medical waiver. I like Philip's idea of buying a new set of shades. I've actually been meaning to poll the NG to this effect.

Can't find the thread you are talking about. know if there are any pictures out there of the strip? When I wear contacts I have sunglasses, but if I am wearing my glasses I can imagine a tint stripbeing very helpful.

I haven't seen any pics, but here is a discussion from late last year. I hope this helps.
EDIT: Here is another thread, with a pic!
