Here is a pic of my smoked rears but I am not yet finish because I have not yet put the glossy clear coat. Notice how I left the white unsmoked! There is also one of my smoked fogs but it is so subtle you can hardly tell. I will later take day pics.

It's VHT Nite Shades. It was done by me and my friend. Its sprayed on the outside but still needs clear coat. Temporary for about three months before it may permanently be baked into it. Lacquer will take it right out. But I plan on just keeping it like this. It has a nice blood red color, not too dark. It just looks more luxurious in this color IMO.

to be honest, i think a clearcoat would look tacky and kinda rice, but the matte-ish finish looks really good, i think that you should forget the clearcoat...

YES! clearcoats on smoked tails look very ordinary and ricey and cheap...matte is classy and it does the lexus well...
but can you post some day pics, just so i know the matte is the best, we should see it in light...

Aerotect Blue fog light/red tail light covers
I had decent success with the red over orange on the rear lights, and the blue covers for the front fogs look fantastic. Had more trouble getting a wrinkle free fit in back, but the blur front covers worked perfectly. Posted some pics in the gallery, but don't think they do it justice. Have had several compliments wondering how I got blue lamps. SGM exterior.
