Any IS owner plan to track their car?

I'm definitely planning on it. I'm hoping as more IS's are sold, that many will sell their tires for cheap so I can stay in rubber without going to the poor house. I was only getting 5 track days at most out of a set. $250 (prorated) for rubber, ~$150 for track fees, $~50 for brake pads, ~$40 for gas and it adds up quickly.

I had quite a fun time at the track with my awd. Tires weren't horrible, but they weren't the best either. Brakes however, depleted fast. Weight and suspension really killed the fun as I understeered a little in the sharper corners... the body roll didn't help either. Power-wise, it's decent for a tight circuit.

Regardless, what's wrong with anyone who doesn't have an unlimited track budget and is willing to head out there and make the most of what they have? Some think it's what you bring to the track. I think it's how you drive what you bring that makes the biggest difference.

Brake fade is one of the things I'm definitely worried about.
