Default Aftermarket HID (McCulloch) Passenger Side Brighter?

Has anyone installed McCulloch 5000k aftermarket HID lights on their is250/is350? Does one side appear to be brighter than the other? It seems like the passenger side is noticeably brighter. Anyone else getting this sort of effect?

I think the driver side is tilted lower in order not to blind oncoming traffic. Thus it may appear that the passenger side is brighter because it is tilted at a higher angle.

Mine are fine, just a loose connection cause the passenger side not to work.

The light seems equal on both sides

Its not your eyes, they most likely mismatch like most other generic aftermarket kit systems. The problem with these bulbs is the are none-oem and are manufactured in korea/malaysia. I've seen a brand new "Kit" which had one bulb burning at about 6000k and the other at 5000K. It was actually pretty amusing.

One thing it could be that the bulb is not seated right. If the bulb did not seat right, you will have a distorted light pattern, and may look brighter.

When I was installing mine, I changed the rubber seals, to the one that the original bulbs came with. The the ones the HID Kit came with it was almost impossible to rotate fully, hence not sitting right.

I thought it's normal to have the passenger side brighter? like all the OEM preinstalled ones they are to stop blinding oncoming veichles like Pinoy said, well I sure hope mine will turn out that way.

I don't think one side is brighter but rather that the cutoff is different. The driver side cut-off is lower than the passenger side on mine too but I assumed it was normal.

Can someone with stock HID take a picture of their pattern on a flat wall from like 10 and 25ft away for verification?
