currently not to many ppl have the funds to do anything great..and also its fairly new...so the market hasnt really made many aftermarket mods yet. just intake, headers, and all those other small mods. if i had the funds i think i would drop a supercharger in my 250 for fun =P

None, yet. If my freakin' car would ever get here, I've got a Joe Z intake ready for action! Waiting on a Blitz or K&N air filter to go with it.

Don't you like the Joe Z anodized black model? That's what I got. If I ever get my car, I'll post some pics if you want, but I thought someone else already did. I also got it with black sleeves, didn't really care for the other colors.

I forgot to mention, in case you haven't seen the threads - the lms may actually lose power as it is taking in hot air (which is less dense = less oxygen = less powerful combustion) unless you add some type of fan or blower. The Joe Z is a cold air intake and with a less restrictive air filter (when available), that'll be like Afrin nasal spray for your engine...ahhh breathe freely!

So what is the difference between these? Is that a air ram in the front of the car on the joe Z?

The difference is that the top one is simply a replacement for the stock tubing. It retains the OEM airbox

The bottom pic replaces the tubing as well as eliminates the airbox completely and uses a cone filter

The top one is actually a better design, the stock airbox is more efficient than the open cone setup.

the air snorkle is stock.

the idea behind the joe-z intake pipe is it removes the resonator champer, as well as the accordian style piping in place with smook piping providing less turbulant air suction. it does help to the tune of about 4-5 hp, looks much better, and has a nice sounds at 3-5k

you are totally right, the LMS intake is actually still a short ram intake that loves heat since the filter still sucking the hot air from the engine bay.
