After reading about everyone looking at range to empty, it reminded me that the display should automatically switch (and beep) when range drops below 50 miles. All my previous cars that had mileage calculations had this feature, and it was VERY helpfull.

I agree, that would be a nice feature.

What the heck is wind temp? thats air temperature basically thats the only thing our display will show.

I was clearifying and making sure that people dont confuse "wind temp" for wind chill as temperature sensors dont read wind chill.

I think the fuel light turning on works just fine. The seatbelt reminder going off when I move my car a few feet in the driveway is annoying as is...I couldn't imagine having to deal with a buzzer going off every time my fuel tank got that low.

Wind is just moving air, so wind temp and air temp are the same thing. Wind chill certainly is NOT the same as wind temp or air temp. You are the only one who got confused about it.

does anyone know how to reset the MPG numbers in this screen? Mine are all whacky, because my car is new and idled most of the time for the start of it's life. It says average 14MPG and average speed of 18MPH. Can I clear it and start fresh?

The "Tank AVG" is automatically reset every time you fill it up. "AVG MPG" is reset by holding down the "DISP" button for several seconds while viewing "AVG MPG". "AVG MPH" resets every time you start the car.
