Well, as some of you know I smacked a baby deer and did some damage to the front bumper. I got the car back today which makes me happy.
However, In the light you can clearly tell the bumper is a brighter white color than the rest of the car. My car is Glacier Frost. My question is, how close is Crystal White to the GFM? I am woundering is if they used the wrong color code. The car only has 2,700 miles so paint fade should be to a minimum. I know this shop and they have a really good rep., just sucks cause I know the car is going to be out of commission again.

They did not use the wrong color code. However, GFM is a bear to paint. to complicate matters Lexus has a different GFM on the GS(more blue/grey)
They need to paint it with a base color of Navy blue, and then put like 6-7 layers of pearl on top. The More pearl, the whiter/yellower it looks. Less pearl, will cause a more blue grey color.
Make them do it again, with less pearl. They should try painting a piece of spare metal, and making sure it matches. Good Luck.

Yeah...I have to agree the paint is certainly a little whiter. It is certainly noticable from 1 foot away, and at a certain angle where the bumper meets the fender.
Otherwise its not too bad. Maybe I am just tooooo picky. Anyone know will the paint pigment probably fade a little?

had an accident on my premium pearl white 2000 prelude while back, the paint from the factory and the dealer body shop didnt match, its a few shades off (the repainted panels look brighter and better), you can notice it at certain angles. Oddily enough I bought the honda OEM prelude body kit which is prepainted and it matches the repainted body panels perfectly, strange. Pearl seems a pain to match
