Extreme Offsets? Customer ordered wheels?
Sup guys, I'm new to the boards this is my first post. Great board.
I'm pretty close to ordering some customer sized wheels for my IS350, but I haven't seen any one on here with some low(er) offset wheels. I know that we running pretty high offsets, but i've yet to see an offset somewhere in the +20s in the rear. I'm looking to get the rim flush with the fender possibly a couple mm outside the fender with a slight stretch in the rear. Anyone have pics and specs?? or have seen any?
I'd also like some pics of your custom wheels with specs on offsets / and widths.

As far as i know
Well, it is probably going to be to low to go anything in the 20s even if you stretch the sucker with a 19x10 with a 235 tire. The ings car has the biggest stretch and his offset i believe is+35 in the rear. I would say that your better off with a +35 at lowest possible.

what would you guys suggest if I went with a 9 or 9.5 width?
another question I haven't found the answer too...
has anyone tried a low disk in the rear? would we have enough caliper clearance? I though I read about someone using axis maxis lip, but I'm not too fond of the axis wheels, ill prolly end up with works.

From what I've seen, you probably don't want to go lower than a ~+34 offset, possibly down to a +30 if you're ok with a big stretch.
I'm going somewhat conservative with +40 front and rear with 8.5 and 9.5 widths. Volks take 60-90 days to be shipped over and I don't want to wait 120-180 days to get a set of wheels that will work. Also, finding someone to do fender work correctly would be a pain if it is at all possible. Just not worth the risk IMO.

sorry if I didn't say in my previous post but I will be rolling my fenders and i'll probably end up with a slight pull in back.
with the 30mm or 34mm offset what width are you referring to?

If you're going to roll the fenders, you might be able to get the 9.5 with a 30 but that's just a guess on my part. I don't believe any one here can say with any certainty as it's never been done before.

i'm running 8.5F 9.5R with a +36 F +40R offset. i think this provides the best lip for the front and back without going crazy or too little.
see the NAIAS TL blue lexus, same offsets/sizes

1. rolling the fenders
2. Stash's has 10.5"s in the rear. Subtract .5" since this guy is looking at 9.5"s. That's ~12-13mm right there.
3. Any clearance issues beyond that can be made up with stretching a 235/245 tire on the wheels instead of 275's if he plans on dropping, etc.
