Just got done installing the Tanabe NF210 springs made for the IS 350 on my 250 AWD
YOU COULD NOT AS FOR ANYTHING BETTER IN RIDE AND DROP!!
THE DROP IS ABSOLUTLY PERFECT...
THE RIDE IS LIKE STOCK 100% -
Coilovers would be a total waste of money for the AWD...get these springs.. I LOVE MY CAR 100000000000% BETTER. does not look like a SUV...get tons of looks now too.
I did before and after pics - comming soon

please explain in all your wisdom why a spring on awd is better than a coil.
waste of money my ****. you'll be thinking differeint when you understand that your stock damper isn't designed to work with such a spring and will be overworked in 2 years.

congrats lexusSara. glad you like the drop.
its actually avg 1.3" front, 0.9" rears. the application is for the 06 GS AWD.
such hostility and anger. lexusSara is happy with her drop. dont be a hater.

Every suspension mod has it's drawbacks. Spend a lot of money on coilovers and you will still have to have them taken off and sent back to the factory (in Japan no less unless you go for Endless/Zeal coilovers who can do them in the States) for maintenance periodically.
In a couple of years, there will be many 2is owners that have gone to coilovers. They'll have their stockers collecting dust and will probably sell them for a song.
If you go on the Z/G forums, you can find entire stock sets for $75-$100+shipping.
