You pay sales tax to the state you live in, so no matter where you get your car, you will be paying your residence's sales tax. You'll pay the state as soon as you register that car. It will be included with the fees you pay to the DMV.

It all depends on what city you live in. found this site online.

Some are rated @ 8.25% and some 7.75%
