It's funny reading this thread about all the alternative ideas of the stain. I wonder how would love stain look like. Anyone have a picture to share.
I don't think that would be too appropriate.

Alcohol does in a lot of materials unfortunately.

Not sure what to say. Good luck on whatever method you choose on getting that fixed. Not trying to be insensitive but I'm wondering what's worse; Your predicament or another 2IS owner a few months ago where a girl threw-up in the front-passenger side of the car only after having the car for a week.

Cheers,
Kermee

Isn't the lacquer they put on the wood supposed to prevent stains like that. It's nasty looking, sorry man.

When I got my car, the dealer pushed me into getting "Magna Shield" which covers exterior and interior for stains like this, or bird drops, tree saps, etc. I had to pay $600 for it but it also got me a lower interest rate, so I figured why not.

Anyhow, just a thought that If you got the same thing, the dealer should replace it for free.

Good luck.

Yes, it is very thinly sliced, manipulated to fit the shape, then sandwiched between plastic and polymer.
