OMG! First IS Accident
Ok this past weekend I was out with a buncha of girls. Well one of them had some chanel perfume and was playing around with me. She went to spray it on me and instead it went all over the middle console where the shifter is...Little did I know about perfume but it stained/faded it with 6 circles. I was extremely pissed off as this car is hardly a month old. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?! I would seriously appreciate it.

Replace the wood. You can try some different cleaning products, but it sounds like it penetrated the outer polymer protection of the wood and actualled discolored the underlying wood itself.
It is very expensive to replace, good luck with that.

make the girl pay it off to you in personaol favors ????
I honestly would try a mild detergent and warm water. IF that doesnt work consolt your dealer but be very careful with strong household cleaners.

Hmmm, if you cant fix it, cover it up.

I suggest Grey Birdseye Maple. Its similar to the grey/black wood that comes in the GS. It costs about $300 for real wood. Post pictures when you are done.

I doubt they'll know of a way to refinish it. It's all about swapping out parts/components these days... I'd start calling around to find the cheapest price to replace the part. I'm sure you could tear that part of the console apart and swap it yourself with a little help from the Internet and some patience.

There won't be any cleaning that off, you'll have to replace the piece.

I am sure that there was no intention on your friend's part to damage your car and I'm also certain that she feels miserable for what happened. I would take the car to the dealer and explain what happened. The dealer might exercise some good will and either repair or replace the part for you. At any rate, it can be corrected one way or the other. If this person is a friend, don't damage the friendship over a piece of interior trim.
