Wow, that's a whole lot of bugs. I'll quit complaining about the occasional bugs I hit when driving here in So. Cal.

I think that due to the aerodynamics of the car that bugs are sticking to it. Since its so aerodynamics the air boundary layer is so little that the bugs are much closer to the surface and go splat. Whereas if you compare with a non aerodynamic car it has a much bigger air boundary layer and push the bugs up and over, but then again big boundary layer= big drag. Just the price to pay for being sleek and going fast.

But, yeah. I've always used the auto store bug remover that comes in a spray bottle and I've been happy with the results.

DUDE OMG!!!! ahhahaha thats bad! Looks like you drove down 5 South from SF to LA during spring time. I did that last year in April and my car looked just like that... actually maybe even worse... Those that have driven through the Grape Vine and up to SF or donw to LA taking the 5 in the spring time can tell you.

I found out that night time driving long distance is the worst.....and if I must make trips at night, I all ways get the car wash with a fill up to help get them off while their still "fresh" so to speak.....always!!! I'm going to make a trip from Tx to Ga in August and I hope mine dont look like yours!
