For HID's, I'd need to get H11, correct?

PS good luck finding 6000k+ bulbs with a d4s base. I doubt they will be out in the near future.
it seems many people are willing to sacrifice the performance output of the bulbs for the more blue-ish tint. Don't know why...

Then why change them? For looks? Kinda pointless isn't it? I guess for those that have non-HIDs, it's worth the $350 since it's an improvement from a 55w bulb.

When going from the stock 4300K to 6000K, do you loose a lot of visibility?

The 6000k bulbs are rated at approx 20% less lumens than the 4300k bulbs meaning that you will lose approx 20% of the light output. However, whether you go with the 4300k or 6000k kits you will still have significantly more light output than stock.

all of this 4300k vs 6000k is useless, let me tell you, i had 4300k on my last car and now on my is i have 6000k and i can tell you no matter what, the light output is still great, that 20 percent will not be noticeable. well, maybe alittle bit when it rains but other wise your still good to go. if your debating on which Kelvin rating you should get, do what you want, pure white with little better visibility or little bit of color added with alittle less visibility. regardless you will no go wrong. sure beats halogens thats for sure.
