I used the "air scarf" in my ex gf's SLK350, that thing was cool...I mean it kept me warm even though we had the top down driving down the freeway at about 60 degrees. Only cool factor though, the car was just waaay too small, I couldnt even lean back in it

I have to be honest, I never have the AC on in my car. I live in Canada and we only have good, warm weather for about 4 months of the year so i always drive with my windows down so i can atleast enjoy the rare experience of warm temperatures. Even with that though, there should be tons of cool air coming in from the open window and the sunroof should help with recirculating the air in the car. I took it to Lexus about 2 weeks ago and they tested my seats with other seats and said it was fine. Like I said before, they work great for about 10 minutes, maybe even less, but after that, they are completely useless. Just to clarify, I do not expect cool air to shoot up to my face or anything, i just expect a bit of air to blow on my butt. I checked today and my back coolers do not work at all. They die out within a minute or two. I am guessing that there has to be a recall of some sort on the motor for the cooled seats. I feel the motor working when I put my hand on the seat and I can hear it too if i really pay attention, but it just doesnt too anything. Kinda like an aquarium pump that is running without any water I guess

. All YOU are doing is reciruclating the warm air already inside your cabin, of course your not gonna feel anything...If its warm out side wheres your cool air coming from, wind ? Wind is cool because it brushes across your skin....not because its a different temp.....this isnt exactly rocket science

I wonder if it is so weak beacuse they are trying to push the air thru the foam padding as well as the leather. I wonder if you could remove the foam over the fans and replace it with the mesh like in the Aero chairs we have at work.
