So i have just ordered the new volk GTS. What does everyone think about this rim? Also spent 2400 for all four. Is that a good price? Post pics when rims arrive.

 

I love them.. great looking wheel. How long is the wait? And what are the specs that you ordered?

in my opinion.. i think the spokes are too thin for the is250/350, especially for a 5spoke

i decided to go with a 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. With a +36 front plus 40 rear with a 2 1/4 front lip and a 3 1/2 rear lip.

 

oh wait time is about 90 days.

 

I think they are a very nice looking rim for the IS.

 

Those rims look HOT !!!!!! I am jealous . I think the offset is perfect because on my car the front rims are recessed in a little and the rear sits flush with the wheel well.

 

One of my favorite volk wheels, but I dont like them on the 2IS cause they will look very small on the car.

5 spoke 19" wheel with big lip + 2IS = Looks like 17's. Even my wheels look small on my car.

It is very true that it will look very small now that i think about it. Damn i was just putting them on order, but recently decided to hold off if they are going to look small. Decide for sure tomorrow. If not going to pick up the momos from Ed and bob bakers lexus. Willing to sell at set for a good deal.

 

One of my favorites also. The reason those GT7's look small is because of the color of the spokes. Darker colors (black, RMC, etc,) will make the wheels look much smaller than they are. If you get silver, they will look bigger.

 

BTW, I don't believe TPM's will be compatible with those wheels. I don't know if that matters to you or not but just FYI.

 

I have those on order to and have been told by Mackin that the sensors will not work on them
