18; someone just totaled my 300 and am thinking about going 350 (will certainly be in an IS of some form). Yes, I am a college student, and no, I didnt earn 100% of the $ to pay for this sweet ride. But, instead am using my college fund that was to pay for out of state tuition (40k additional). Stay in AL = nice car; Go to Cali/ATL/Florida = pos or no car; and my parents are convinced Lexus helped save three lives in our family (me twice, brother once), so they they probably wanted me in it regardless.

Ordered my IS250 manual (with nav/ml) back in June and expect to get it by the end of November. Out here (Europe, The Netherlands) I'm young (30) to get a car like this that will set me back USD 58.000+ (cars are easily taxable ) and the IS350 is not even on sale here (probably because of the fact that the gas prices outhere would make most of you weep!).
Anywayz... count myself lucky to end up driving one (in November)!

I'm 17. Obviously, I don't have enough money to afford this car, it was my dad's gift to me. Depending on where I go to college, the car will either come with me or he'll get it.

23, didn't buy it myself. Was a college graduation present from my parents under the condition I maintained a 4.00 major gpa. Finished school in June (majored in Information Systems, and begging for a job currently ). Anyway, the car is on order (has been since June) and is "supposedly" arriving the first week of October... but I'm not holding my breath after being pushed back by the dealer twice thus far.

Im 25. My car is in my sig.
And to all you other young peeps, you don't have to justify how you got the car or why you have it. If you bought it yourself, that is awesome, if your parents bought it or you received it some other way, then that is great too. Don't be ashamed of where you come from, good or bad. We can't control what family and lifestyle we are born into, that is God's work. I hope someday to give my children very nice things, and I hope they strive to earn them in whatever means necessary as well. Congrats on the car no matter how you got it.
