Just got news, no ML for me :(
My salesman just called me. I ordered a 350 last month, and was hoping for one with ML by end of Aug. Now he tells me they stopped ML for 06's. It'd be Octoberish and only for 07 if I still wanted it. Oh well, I guess time to look for aftermarket audio and video solutions...

Weird. I wonder if they recognized that there were so many reported problems with the ML system, and decided that a recall would be too expensive, leaving them with the save of just waiting until the 2007's to get all the bugs out.

I think someone was having issues with the music cutting out when they were playing a different format. The format was supposed to be supported by the system but he was having issues.

If you really want the ML don't settle. Get the car that you want even if you have to wait longer. I made that mistake with my RX330 by not getting all the options I wanted since it wasn't available at the time, and now I regret it and will be selling the car after about 3 years. The longer I own a car without the things I originally wanted the more I want to sell it. If you want ML audio get the car with ML. If you planned to upgrade anyway than I guess it doesn't matter. Either wat though don't settle for something less than what you wanted.

agree about not settling, if you can wait. The ML is superb. I've upgraded the stereos in my past cars because they were all either missing something or just didn't have the sound quality.
The ML is clear, crisp and has decent lows. The surround processing is amazing.
