In a perfect world the dealer wouldn't have drilled without asking me first...this looks cleaner than two holes or a stupid plate at least.

bumper plugs don't look as good as a custom framed license plate...

Cool

I'd go with a custom frame myself if the holes were already there.......my question to you is are those chips out of your paint already or is your car dirty with bug guts?

I'd rather have holes than nipples on the front. Of my car. Not of... never mind.

i like them. we have them on the SC, the holes were drilled when we went to pick it up. i was disappointed but oh well. the bumper plugs are a nice way to deal with them - i don't know about you, but when i took off the dealer frames the holes were drilled pretty badly and puckered a little bit. at least the plugs hide them.

since then i have insisted on no holes, so our GS is nice and clean. that's the way i'll go from here, but unfortunately unless its ordered and you specify before it arrives from the port, usually the cars on the lot already have the plates on

conekiller, where did you get the plugs from? are these just rubber plugs you painted or is this a lexus part? i agree it looks better than having a front plate and much cheaper than having someone fill the holes and repaint.

They don't have Tungsten Pearl, but the Arctic Silver Metallic is about as close to a perfect match as you'll get without using the actual TP paint code.

did you have to drill the holes bigger? the bumper plugs are 1/4 and the holes for the plate are smaller!!

Yes - but the holes the dealer drilled were only a hair smaller than 1/4". I was almost able to slowly spin the 1/4" bit into the hole by hand.
