Seems good for a long trip, but other than that, I'd never wear one. But yeah, good for a trip.

I really dont like the look of bras on cars... How do you keep them from not changing the way the paint looks after taking them off?

I think the OP reason for having the bra is for road trips to keep the bugs and rock chips away..it's not for cosmetic reasons....no damage done to the paint if it's only for a couple of hours and taken off when arrive at your destination. Seems like a good idea to me.

Ah, yea I get that now, and for that reason I think Id agree. I kinda like that idea actually. I might get one just for road trips too.

500 miles? you DEFINITELY need it!

look good with just the hood panel on, the "Full bra" makes it look a little "Bulky".....

You're not kidding. I went to UCF (commuted), and my car got TRASHED by those things.

MD727 or whoever has the colgan bra, where do you guys hook the hood bra? I tried and rubber didn't stretch out long enough. Can you take a pic of it too?

They normally have elastic straps with hooks, and bendable metal tabs sewn into the bra. I've never seen a bra that required any permanent modification to anything.

To me all those type bras are ugly.
There's a company makes color matched bras of that type for Corvettes.
Those bras look much better.
A clear bra by Ventureshield is the way to go.

GOt the same one you got. I thought it was a bit expensive. But they were the only one I could find about 3-4 months ago. As the instruction says. You're not suppose to leave it on long after it has rain. I usually put mine on for long rides and take it off right when I get to my destination. Oh yea! It sucks that in order for you to have no license plate hole you have to pay extra.

does it damage your paint if you don't take it off once you're arrived at your destination(parked in the garage basement)?

Thats seems like a good idea for any kind of road trip. protects your paint and reduces reflectivity for LASER/LIDAR *cough*
Just need some stealth coating for those headlights and a matte black paint job like this slr.
