Here are some pics of my CF Colgan Bra that I put on just before my road trip. The thing worked like a charm! Cleaning the bugs off of it was a thousand times easier than it would have been if they were on the paint. The bra is now stored in the garage for the next trip.

Sorry for the night shots, but I was leaving early the next morning and didnt get a chance to take any day shots.

I dont have any pics when it was on, but I will take a pic of the underside of my hood and point out where you hook that piece and post it in the morning. I will tell you that that piece was the hardest part of the install... it's quite a stretch.

I left it out in the sun for a bit but the sun was setting so it didn't have the full effect. I actually had to have a buddy help me stretch the straps. We struggled with them. It didn't help that the instructions completely sucked.

the hood panel is hard to put on....i always put my bra on my self bc its usually a few minutes before i set off on the raod trip....i find that if u just place the hood panel in its place and let the straps hang..while u put on the the larger piece..it makes it much easier to hook it in place.....

After you have it on for a while, it will become easier to put on and take off (the hood portion). I had mine for over (2) months and it has definitely reduced additional rock chips and bug guts. I do make sure that I apply a double coat of wax on the covered portions before I put on the bra.

I believe it could if there is water or moisture between the bra and the car

I doubt it. If there were dirt or debris, that would certainly cause damage.

I think you two are saying pretty much the same thing, lol.

I put a layer of 3M Painters tape underneath the bra. I also washed the front end before installing it.
