So the first few days I had my car... about a couple months ago... I opened the hood just to check it out and look around. It was almost dark, and noticed there was no light. Am I right to say theres no engine compartment light?????

Even my old Ford F150 had an engine compartment light!!! I guess I'll try opening the hood again... but is there a light???!!!!

Nope. And for the record, I haven't seen many cars, or trucks, that had an engine compartment light.

the engine bay on a f-150 is bigger, leaving room for a large light, yes, lexus could have put in a couple LEDs here and there but then people would have complained about there not being enough light...its a lose-lose situation...

Ford expected owners would routinely need it
