Not only does the IS look bad with the wire mesh grille, every car on the web site looks stupid to me. It's like a bad set of braces.

When I had my Miata, this type of grill was almost mandatory. The lower bumper had an opening just like the x50's, but had nothing covering it at all. 6 inches off the ground and open straight to your radiator. Had a few people catch a rock and ding up the radiator... That said, I really dont like it for our car.
