I wonder what it would look like painted black. The stock plastic piece is out of place IMO, but while this is not the step up that I hoped it would be, at least it shows that the grille is getting some attention...now its just a matter of someone doing a tasteful setup.

this was posted long time ago--the one bad thing about this mesh grill is that it does not replace the stock grill, but just lays over it, secured by none other than zip ties.

it looks really bad, but i think it would look slightly less hideous if the chrome edge around it wasn't there...i think that is the worst part, but take the chrome edge off and paint black and i would be intrested...

It's a bit ricer. Too prominent; perhaps it would be more subtle if painted, rather than chromed...
