I don't remember having read this in any of the previous posts...
Does anyone know what the difference is between the Xenondepot 4300K and the 6000K kits? Do the kits have identical electronics, just different bulbs (4300k or 6000k)?
Thanks,

I'd suggest you PM them and ask Xenondepot directly ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I sent them an e-mail and have yet to receive a reply.

I'm really itching to get the Xenondept HID kit but I'm so unsure about which to get. I'd like it to shine bright white (on the ground) but have a blueish tinge when looked at from far or at certain angles.
To those who have these kits... which (4300 or 6000) would best achieve this???

I would say 6000k will definitely give you that bluish look. When firing up mine, they are very blue, but after a few seconds of warming up, they become whiter. The ground is not a pure white, but a white with a hint of blue in it. Looking at the projecter, it will be white in the center, and blue around the fringes. At the cutoff line, it seems a little more bluish-purple. I have seen 4300k (non-phillips brand), and I tend to think that is more of a yellow-white.

Do you find the output is weak at all? I am worried that I'll get 6000k and it won't be bright enough. I am pretty much looking for the same thing as Kramo. I want pretty much white lights with a tint of blue. Of course 6000k also costs like 75 dollars more than 4300k.

I went from stock halogens to the XD 6000k kit. It's hard to say whether they were weaker than the halogens or not, or whether they are that much brighter without having a side by side comparison.
I'd have to see them side by side to really tell you for sure.

What about during rainy nights .... are you able to see well? I like the look of HID, especially with the bluish tinge .... but I want to have better output than the halogens.
Can anyone with the 4300k kit confirm if they have the same look (color on the ground, tinge, etc.) as the stock IS HIDs?

Sorry that was my mistake. To be clear, HIDs are brighter than the halogens. I meant to say compared to the 4300k HIDs, I can't tell unless they were side by side.
If you have halogens, it doesn't do this car justice. With all its technology, it should have come with HIDs stock.

Since I haven't really seen the stock IS HID lights in person, are they similar to the Infiniti HIDs?

Hello,
As per your posts:
1) The only difference between the kits is the bulbs. Philips charges a premium for their 6000k bulbs meaning we need to charge more money for the product.
2) The 4300k bulbs offer approx 20% more light than the 6000k bulbs. The 4300k kit will offer you a bright white output with a slight bluishy/yellowish tinge. However, the 4300k bulbs will colour shift meaning that they will get slighlty bluer with time. The 4300k bulbs will reach colour temperatures of approximately 4700k within approx 100 hours of use. The 6000k bulbs will have a crisp white output with a slighty bluish/purpulish tinge.
Its funny... we actually get some customers that switch from the 4300k to the 6000k for the colour and email back saying that they think that the 6000k is brighter. It just looks like it though because of the colour that the 6000k bulbs emit (more crips white vs 4300k slight yellowish).
