no problem, i was just wondering how you were able to order so soon if all of us were waiting, which i guess you are waiting too. so for the DICE, were to able to determine that no text whatsoever is coming across, not even when using playlist only in your ipod?

I actually placed an order at the $299 price. Once bichon mentioned the group buy, I cancelled the order and got on the list same as you guys. I wonder if they will have enough units to go around or if us late comers will have to wait...

Yep, the center of the screen is blank (should have taken pictures...). Where you would have the discs listed (cd1, cd2, etc) it is blank. Apparently they are trying to treat a playlist as a "CD" and then the songs in the playlist would be the tracks on the "CD". The only things that show up are the CD changer icon at the top and the the RPT, SCAN, RAND buttons at the bottom. I could, however, use the track up/down on the wheel and the front of the stereo and change tracks on my iPod. And the sound was about the same as from the aux input.

Did you guys/girls that enrolled in the group buy for VAIS have to call them and enroll or is there a way to do it through the link provided in this thread?

For those who don't have the nav system the DICE unit works great. Just installed it in my IS250 and I've got text and can control tracks using the steering wheel control.

A few questions:

Whats the delay inbetween tracks when your scanning thru the songs?

How does it handle playlists? Shuffle play?
