2007 IS Color List
Just wanted to make sure this didn't get lost in the other thread!
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=220790
On a side note it was also listed that the IS350 and one of the IS250 iterations (sorry can't remember which one) is going to have semi-analine leather as an option... so there were 4 things listed Cloth, Leather, Perforated Leather, and Perforated Semi-Analine Leather....
It seemed to be on most of the packages (luxury, sport) but not on the new one.... oops did I say something?

Like I said, I'm not sure how it's going to work but it appeared to be 2 different perforated leather listed, one semi-analine, one not....

From what I understand semi-analine is a difference in the processing and spreading of the pigments and dyes used in the leather-making process that allows it to be more uniform and softer than standard leather seats...

Full Analine / Sauvage Leather
The most attractive and natural leathers that are prized for their soft natural feel. These are leathers, which have been analine dyed in a vat process with no colour coating added to the surface. They are the most expensive leathers to produce because only the very best selection of hides can be used to produce full analine leathers. Full analine dyed leathers are more susceptible to absorbing liquids because of the natural porosity of the hide. Because they don't have a top coating the leather breathes more easily and is cooler to sit on.
Semi-Analine Leather
Semi-Analine dyed leathers have been dyed through and have a thin finishing layer on the surface. They offer a combination of the softness and feel of full analine leather with the protective benefits of a surface finish. By dyeing the leather through before the final thin top coating is applied, a very even colouration is achieved with only a thin layer of finish. Thus the leather remains softer because it is not necessary to apply a thick top coating.
