Default what other car would you trade your is250 for?

what other car [of equal value or not too much over] would you trade your is250 for? I am really getting tired of the weak performance and some tiny details that are tempting to change it for something else [maybe a 350z...] dunno right now what exactly i will go for but if i find something else that is better in performance and not compromise that much luxury wise, i might go for it... anyone else feeling the same way??

I don't feel the same way, but, there really aren't too many options out there that match what you're looking for. Because within the price range of the IS250, most cars that are a step-up in performance are excessively lacking luxury-wise in comparison. For example, you could get an Evo. But while you're zipping around the bends, you won't be able to appreciate how well-crafted the interior is like the IS.

I agree that the 350 is a good combo of powe and luxury... wish they offered a 350M... might have considered that if they did.

If you need mroe power, but not compromise luxury, then the IS350 would be best. Unless you are looking for a manual, then the G35 coupe or 3-Series would do.

Let the battle/debates begin once again!!!

I wouldn't trade my IS for anything. I had the option to get many more expensive alternatives. In the end I kept coming back to the IS. It has the just perfect balance. If the power of the 250 doesn't suit you, you should go for the 350. If you must depart the Lexus camp, go for the BMW 335 coupe.

The Nissan would do you well if you love to change tires every 6 months from uneven tire wear. The G35 is outdated now and noisy (and did I say noisy?)

Acura TL is bigger, but you don't lose any of the luxury of the 250.

Can also get a TL with 6MT, and it will smoke the doors off a 250... Sucks that it's FWD though.

1970 Plymouth Road Runner with the "pistol grip" four speed. Roomy, powerful and will hold it's value.

I find that the interior of the TL isn't as attractive as the 250, though. The TL is a lot more gimmicky. My sister has one, and I've always thought that.
