well, now that ya'll have me concerned about the +35 offset, I went ahead and mounted them w/o wheels (I put a wooden block under the rim).

The rear:

The front:

The rear looks tight, ...almost dead even with the fender line. The front, again, is a +43 w/ a 5mm spacer (making it a +38).

Thoughts?

Mark my words, they will be a PITA to keep clean. Their design is almost identical (dare I say a ripoff of) the Superleggeras. The problem is those corners at the outer ends of the spokes are very angular and are MAGNETS for brake dust and road grit. Over time that small lip between each spoke gets so beaten up/worn by grit and brake dust that it begins sticking to it like cement.

Those BFG tires are too fat.....u'll rub with the specs u have.
Maybe go with Dunlops or Falkens. They are thinner & narrower than the BFG in same size.

Update: Mackin will be sending over the Face 2 ME with a +45 from Japan, (3-4 weeks). Iguess that's better than having to have them made and wait the normal 60-90 days. However, this delay got me thinking of other wheels, ...heck I even called D2 to see what they had.

On another note, if anyone is interested in the 19 x 9.5 ME Face 1 (+35), I can let these go for cheap (per Mackin), ...and they will discount the price on the 19x8 for the fronts (in stock).

Soooo, ...as I wait, I get to stare at my tires, springs and soon the exhaust.

No can do, BFG are my tire sponsor, (have been for 4 years), I didn't realize that they ran so much wider, ...so I'm getting the +45 offset for the rears and crossing my fingers. The fronts should be fine.
