I haven't got the mounting yet figured it out. I put the Squeezebox on the console when I was driving on the highway and put it on the seat when I'm doing a lot of turning. Only had it working for about a week so far, but will work on a mount. Here is one picture I took driving today from Yuma to Tucson. It doesn't show much, but at least it something for now.

Na, nothing I have added draws much current. The amplifiers are the biggest power consumers and I didn't touch them. Squeezebox is 5 volts and laptop is plugged into a power inverter but doesn't draw much.

The other night I listened loud in the garage for nearly an hour with no problems. The system shut down after about 30 minutes but I started it right back up again.

I just bought my IS350 a week ago and I have an exisiting sub/amp from my old car that I can install into the 350. I have a few questions.

why is the installation so cheap? I am getting price quotes from $50-75 total. Don't they have to bypass the exisiting subs or amps to make everything work? I remember from the newer Altimas with the Bose system, they had to bypass one of the subs or something.

Also, does anyone know if the headunit has pre-amp outputs?

Been looking for a nice, clean sub install to go with my Alpine system and your install reminds me of the JBL stealth boxes.

bump same here. Im guessing there wont be a dash kit made at all...How much would a shop charge to build a custom front dash kit? Also how much better would an aftermarket setup sound using an aftermarket cd player vs the stock one??

does anyone know more about this? I've changed everything out with the use of a 3sixty and it still doesn't sound good. Along with this, I have hissing coming from a couple of speakers.
