yeah i picked this up knowing it was going to bump super hard

yeah too much room, i think im just going to get 3 individual 12" boxes, and put them on the corners of the trunk, i dont really mind how it looks, im not going to be showing it off, as long as it bumps good

oh and about not being able to hear the music inside the car, would having ML make a difference?
lol

I doubt it. I wouldn't even consider them hitting hard, they'd hit TOO hard lol. I understand if you did it for show but damn that's crazy if you just want a lot of bass.

i know what you mean, i have a place i use and they do a sick job setting stuff up, pm me and ill give you the info. at one point i had 2 w6vs in my tacoma, and that thumped super hard. but then again that was the loudest setup i have had so far. 1600 watts rms for my subs, and 800 watts rms for my door speakers. that didnt last long because i got pulled over way to many times with that setup, so i got rid of one of them and went back to weaker door speakers. my truck was 2x louder than my 2is.

2 ohm JL 12W3V3, Alpine MRP-500 Mono block, Custom box by Tyler Adams (Custom Enclosures Inc), install by Craig Wardwell @ Auto Sound in Willoughby, OH. I had them put a bass **** in as well.

They also quoted me $1600 for a DVD/NAV unit installed, color matched plastic and all bells and whistles, i might go for it.
wow 1600... i paid a little over 1100 for everything installed, not just the dvd/nav

for all you guys that have added subwoofers.... did you upgrade the interior speakers as well? Do they sound drounded out by bass? Im thinking I want to do some sort of an upgrade to my factory speakers, possible sub, but dont want to drown out everything else

Hi Bros,

l need to seek certain advise, l just did an I.C.E setup and l really do not know whether it is a good setup.

4Channel Amps - Zapco Competition C2K6.0X
2Channel Amps - Zapco Competition C2K2.5X
- find that the amps are very hot and can feel the heat in the booth, any advise from forum mates whether this is the usual norms of this amps.
Processor - Audison Bit one
Speakers - EB Audio ST10 - recommended by the audio shop but l am not happy with the sound.
Subwoofer - Got to use it for a while while l am sourcing for a 10" good subwoofer -Hertz DS250 - Any good subwoofer which is 10" to advise.

Space is a constraint for me as l need to put baby pram in the booth.

Appreciate advise from the forum mates whether this is a good setup.

I'm definitely gonna have to check this out. Any idea how much it would be if I picked it up?
