Wow, after seeing all these sweet setups, Im really debating on installing my 1500W Kicker amp and 2 12" Boston Acoustic DVC subs in my 2IS. My brother has had them in his Ram while I have been stationed overseas and the original plan was to install it in my "weekend ride" when I buy one when I get home next month. But HMMMM. Yall got me wanting to put the bump in Lexy...

I am seeing some VERY nice installs in this thread. Here are a few pics of mine. Perhaps not as clean or professional, but I did this myself.

Let me tell you what....best money spent on the car so far, as far as enjoability goes. If you look on ebay you should be able to pick up the parts for about 100 bucks if you're patient. Another 125 for install (cause it aint easy) and you've got yourself the true musicals notes you've been missing by tapping the ML sub lines.

PS: dont let any audio shop con you into thinking the entire system has to be setup on the cleensweep...thats just a lie. You can leave all the other lines intact (cause it sounds pretty damn good) and just run it for the bass.

PPS: the cleansweep also comes with a remote level out/w push button on/off. makes it nice to adjust the bass gain as each song requires.
Do you know which signals (FL, FR, RL, RR, Sub, etc.) were used for the summing module?

when i got my gs300 the stock stereo was shot, so I put in a 1-DIN kenwood deck I picked up for 60-70 $ on cruthfield. then i dropped a JL 12" w3v3 in a sealed box, with a 300/1 jl amp.. I did not want super slap, just high quality medium base.. and i got exactly what i was looking.. all new for under 500 installed. JL audio in my opinion is still one of the top companies out there.

I am pretty happy with it, thanks.

i just installed a 10" infinity basslink in my car and it turned out really good. Hits really nice inside and doesn't rattle the trunk or my insides while driving. It was scary as crap tapping into the factory wiring in the trunk, but it turned out great so I'm happy! i'll post some pics shortly.

Does anyone have a picture or setup install of any members that have the premium system? I want to install an aftermarket radio, but i have the 08 IS250 that has the climate, navigation, radio etc that all run through the factory head unit. I can live without the navigation part, but i don't know how to retain the climate controls. Thanks for the help while i search the forums in the meantime.
