That's quite a few changes for the IS.

It's good to see the HIDs and sport pedals as stand alone options. A lot of people just want these two things.

And I can't believe that the wheels that I wanted are going to be part of that new XE option! I would have rocked with that!!!

 

does VDIM reactivate at 30 mph, oddily enough the same number of lives you get using the contra code

 

I gotta say, I'm most excited about those "starfish" wheels. I've been wanting those for quite a while but they were previously only available in JP. woot. that might have to be my xmas present for next year along w/ the spoiler.

 

Dang now I gotta buy a shark fin and stick it on my car so its not OLD anymore...

traction control, can get intrusive if you are tracking the car, was a big complaint in magazines it kept interfering in tests

Personally, I'd prefer not to have a shark fin antenna on my car. I think it's tacky, and takes away from the lines. So in that respect, I'm glad I have a 2006. One thing I do want from the 2007's, though, is the lighted fuel/trunk release buttons! Hopefully it will be an easy mod.

Aside from that, there's nothing too impressive foor 2007. So now I can drive my car for at least another year until I have to think about a trade-in.

Very good changes to the 2007 option list that will surely make the IS an even harder one to pass by. The HID are a good add, and I guess Leuxs listened to our very practical request for illuminated trunk/fuel buttons. And the VDIM button should keep lots of magazine-ers happy! Shame about no manual, but at least VDIM button is a step in the right direction.
