I am thrilled about the sharkfin!!! I know some people don't like it but I do. As for the design, I would guess it's the same sharkfin that will be used on the new LS and has been in use in Japan on the GS and IS already.

The addition of a VDIM-defeat button is minor? That's a HUGE deal in my eyes (especially in it's second year) and will undoubtedly bring the IS much more in line with competition like the 3er and G35. Great move, Lexus.
As Edmunds put it:
"Still, there's so much technology aboard the Lexus car, the driver is too insulated from the experience. The biggest downer is the inability to disarm the VDIM system, which mutes the sedan's performance long before the limits of its chassis and tires are reached. "

Very subtle changes. Not bad. I would definately like that VDIM button.
I curious on the fuel & trunk lights.
Can't wait to see Starfire Pearl.
*EDIT*, Nevermind, figured out the fuel/trunk lights

It's definately nice to have a button to do that but since you can do the dance it seems minor. If you couldn't do it before, and you could do it now, that would be huge. I like how you'll be able to distinguish the '06's & '07's by the antenna.

The Obsidian black is supposed to be the blackest black Lexus has ever produced and will be shared with the GS and LS. Supposedly a mirror-black finish, expect it to look astonishing - when clean.
