Wow thanks!

One thing, the link to the "How to install (hardwire) a Valentine One radar detector in your New IS" thread is broken.

Fixed, thanks! I merged two similar threads a while back so we'd have it in one spot and the link changed.

I section about parking light bulbs and DRL bulbs might be useful too. There seems to be a good amount of questions asking what bulbs match what Temp HIDs, etc.

It looks great though.

Got some links or start a post?

We have a lighting forum and a sticky there (linked from the FAQ) may be the appropriate place.

Somebody gather up that info and we'll make it happen!

Note that we have a decent FAQ on general lighting questions in that forum already. Within that Lighting FAQ post there is a link to a good source for bulb info

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

I can start by adding the lighting FAQ link, but would be good to have one specific to the 2IS.

Hi Dave, just an FYI, the Override to change navigation destination while in motion function doesn't work on the 2IS. Dunno how useful this thread would be in the FAQ section if it doesn't work...

Everything else is nicely organized. Thanks for all the hardwork you and flipside909 put into it!

Sexi, sounds like user error My understanding is that this works on the 2IS... can anyone else confirm?

I've added a couple of other links that I'd forgotten about for nav (microphone sensitivity and voice command summary) since I posted this thread.

Anything else that we should add? Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I'm wondering if there's a difference between the 250 vs. 350? I read that entire thread and there was one other 250 owner that it worked for.

Any 350 owners out there wanna try this and let me know if it works for you?! I swear that I followed the instructions as written and it didn't work.

I've done this on a 350 too. (is4me2's 350) The pictures on the the screen shots arent exactly like our nav but it's almost the same.

Menu
Volume
Tap top left corner then bottom left corner until that menu pops up
Hold down Override until you hear a beep (3 seconds maybe)
Hit back on the upper right corner.

Now you can use any of the destination commands while moving. The phone menu still won't work though. Also it resets once you turn off the car.

Dave,

I was thinking of something like this thread.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=Parking+Light

Maybe it belongs in the lighting forum, but I don't think they have a "what parking light matches what HIDs sticky" there either.

Ok ben, I'll try it again and hopefully it works this time. Thanks!

Sexi, that's the same for me.
I've tried tens of times on my IS and it doesn't work. Maybe 'cos it's an European/Italian 220d?
