Get 15 all around or 20, the interiors too light but it'll be kinda bad at night unless you get use to it. I roll down my windows to park at night and use my back up cam.

I have a 1IS with light interior and 35%. With the sun shining, it doesn't look like I have tint. I got 35% because anything less than 70% here is illegal and I don't want to get hassled.

Also depends on brand of tint. 3m is known to be more of a deep black than suntek or llumar?

I have a 20% all around with the grey interior. I actually got pulled over and cited for having tinted front side windows though.

yes because... CA has a max of 70%? that's a little too much of a difference ain't it... i never had a prob with 50% in CA.... or even 35%....now in indiana.. i drive 20% only hahah

Thanks for the picture.. 20% on the front seems like it may be too dark for me. I also live in the bay area, have the cops given you any crap for having the front tinted?

I've only gotten pulled over once for it, but he did not give me a ticket. If you have light interior, the front windows actually don't look that dark in the day time because the windshield emits a lot of light through.

this is my white is250 with 18% silver metallic. the tint changes depending on time of day. if it's really bright out then the tint seems like a 35% but when it gets to about night time, you can't see inside. i love the shade because cops never harass me about my tint. pic was taken around afternoon time from my g1 phone
