I'm fish bowlin and I'm happy.
To me, tints in CA look wierd since we have laws against tinting the front. The car will end of with tints in the back only. If I could, I would tint the whole windows.
My bro got tickets for tinting the front, and it isn't a fix it ticket. It costs him $135 for tint violation. He got busted in Pleasanton, so I definitely don't want to risk it.

Even if you are pro Fish Bowl, you should at least put on light tint that provides protection from UV rays. The sun can be brutal on leather interiors. Unless you are going to clean and condition your leather interior religiously ...tint will be your friend.

My biggest reasons for not getting tint are because I find it gets scratched over time, I can't install it on my front windows without getting a ticket, and I don't want some random person installing it on my car. I've had tint before, and on my last 2 cars I did not have it, and I am much happier without the tint.
As for UV rays, etc. the factory glass already has quite a bit of UV protection:
Plus I opted out of leather in favour of Cellensia microfibre cloth anyways.

Be careful ...not all IS250/IS350 have factory glass with UV protection.
From what I understand all models from 2010 and above will have glass with UV protection from the factory.
However, not all models from 2006 to 2009 have factory glass with UV protection.

All IS250/350 models should have UV protection glass. The only glass on the car that changed between 06-09 and 2010+ was the windshield. Not sure what changed, but my 2011 has UV markings on it, and that chart also indicates that the 06's should too.
