I may be wrong on that no tint on front windows = any percent on back windows, it's been a while since I've lived there. But it's for sure no more than 35%.

depends on the type of tint (regular, metallic, or ceramic). Ceramic is the most expensive, you're looking at about $600

$100-200 for basic. don't get dyed tint, they fade over time.
best to get known brands like 3M, llumar, suntek, etc.

Just got mine done couple weeks ago. 30% front and 15% back. Original cost was supposed to be $260 but the shop accepted $220 if paid with cash. They used 3M film and the window streaks that are normally there when I roll up the window are gone after getting tints.

I paid $240 a year ago. Research said it was good product.
In this state SUV's get the free pass whereby on the fronts are checked. Vans and even a stupid Subaru can run whatever they want in the rear windows.

If you get them for $50 per window, you are doing good.

I paid $340 for ceramic tint which included the 4 side windows, rear window, plus a 4" visor strip on the front windshield.

I highly recommend the ceramic tint, it has reduced the heat in the car quite noticeably. With my Black on Black 2is I was not even able to sit on the leather with my jeans the first minute or so because the seats got too hot in the California sun. Since they were tinted the interior is quite a bit cooler and I haven't hesitated to sit even with shorts.

I paid $140 for %5 in rear and %25 front. (I'm in LA so front is illeagle tried to keep it lighter) it was a 3M certified dealer. I honestly thought I over paid becuase I know people get it for $100 but for $40 I was cool with the 3M certificated. I wouldn't pay over $150 honestly

It all depends on the going rate in your area. I called just about every tint place online. Prices ranged from $200-$800 for a complete car. The cheaper places were usually someone that worked for a tint company and doing it on the side.

Default What %percentage window tint is on YOUR car?

I'm looking to get my car tinted.
Deciding between 20-35% ceramic tint.
Is 20% too dark for dark winter weather?
