Mp3 Cd
I already posted this on is300.net but was gonna try my luck here
Basically I am using nero, but Im having a hard time trying to burn an MP3 CD that will play in my car. After many trials and errors I still cant get it to read right. Most of the time I end up with a CD consisting of 2 folders, and one file in each folder. Or a couple folders..anda couple files in a certain folder. I dont really know what I am doing wrong. But it would be really GREAT if someone could tell me the settings they are using on Nero to get the IS to read the mp3 cd properly
Heres the link to my thread on is300.net also

Yea I have tried making just a data disc. That was actually what I did before (only found out Nero Express gives you the 'MP3 cd' option).
I make a cdrom ISO and my folders just consist of the artist and I put the corresponding songs in the folders. Like, I know what I am doing...not the newb type. Im just wondering why the 2IS is so fussy with the ISO settings. I really dont know what I am doing wrong
I just tried putting a bunch of these cds I made (that didnt work on the IS) into my computer and this is actually what I found out. The songs that did play...they show up as MP3 files on my computer. The rest of them, they dont show up as mp3 files?

I just drag the folders of mp3s onto my CD-drive and burn the files to CD. I've found that the other programs just complicate the whole process. I just make sure that my mp3s only go one level deep.

I just tried on my Mac. Inserted blank CD-RW, made 4 folders, drapped in 4 sets of MP3. Burned it in the Finder (not iTunes, but that works as well). Put in the ML, 4 folders show up, along with all the tracks in each folder (and tags).

I burn mp3s to a CD-R with no problem. However, all songs from certain albums sound like they are skipping. Other albums I burn in to the same disc have no problem. Now, when I play the cd in my other car, songs that were skipping are fine but songs that did not have a problem are skipping. When I say skipping, it sounds like it is a bad track or a scratched cd. I use a brand new cd (no scratches). When I listen to the mp3 track in my PC, it sounds fine. I suppose it's in the burning process.
Can anyone explain?
