I Plan to purchase an 07 is350.

My father just purchased (3 months ago) a lexus ls430 ( beautiful car for the old man). I had gone to the dealer with him one day when he was in the looking stage. That is where I first became "seduced" by the 350.

Anywany, my question is this. Don't you think my best opportunity at getting a great deal would be to have my father purchase the car for me through the same dealer?

I will be paying cash so I could very simply just give the money to my father and have him make the deal.

Just seems like the dealer would be much more willing to give a deal to a person who is buying two cars less than 6 months apart.

Ayone have any experince in the area?

I bought an IS350 about a month ago and got a pretty good deal on it. My wife was so impressed with it that she decided she wanted a Lexus also.. So, we went back to the same dealer and salesman and bought a new RX350. I would have to say that we got an awsome deal on it because I was already a customer.

Just for Kicks we took their offer to another dealership and they specifically told us they could not match it much less beat it...

Yeah, I would have to believe that the likelyhood of a signifigant discount would be pretty good for a repeat customer from just a few months back.

Although the prospect becomes less likely when the second car is an '07 AND a 350.
