Default ML Now a Standalone Option

...in my zipcode (10709).

Prior to today, the only Available Packages (on Lexus.com) for the IS250 were the Premium Package ($1,500), Luxury Package w/ 18-in wheels ($7k), or the NAV/ML Package ($8k). Now, Lexus has added the Mark Levinson Premium Audio Package as a standalone option. This means two things.

1. ML can be had for just ($1,035).

2. Metallic interior trim is finally now available in my zip.

Unfortunately, a $7k Sport Package is still a required package when building a 350, so that'll stay out of my reach for the time being. Anyone else find it a little strange that Lexus would rearrange option packages with '07s on the horizon?

When was the NAV + ML package $8,000???

Sport Package is $7,000?? Where are you getting your prices from?

Also, you cannot combine Premium Package with Sport Package. It's one or the other.

I just checked, that's the price for the sport or lux with Nav. And I didn't see ML as a stand alone option. Actually, I didn't even see it as an available option in a package....

I tried to build an IS250 online and I do not see where the luxury pkg is offered on the 250. Can someone clarify this for me??

Did you use the original poster's zip code or your own? Available packages vary by geographic area.

(There isn't a day that goes by that I don't curse the numnut at Lexus that decided that people in the northeast shouldn't be able to get ML on their IS350.)

What is up with that?? So basically because I live in a particular part of the country I cannot order an IS250 with LP?? That is crazy!!

On the other hand, guess that means if the wifey wants everything that her X5 currently has, then we will have to get a 350!!

Each market has different allocations. That's why the Lexus website asks for your zip code because it's somewhat aware of how most of the vehicles are configured and allocated for that particular market at the present time.

When I bought my IS250 AWD in Nov '05, you couldn't get the Lux package with it at all. Now, you can't even get an IS250 AWD *without* Lux package here without special ordering it or having it shipped in from somewhere else in the country.

Cheers,
Kermee

I wasn't able to reproduce your finding on the website, unless you're talking about the 2007. Would be nice of them to offer ML without NAV. Can this claim be verified or debunked?
