Default Did something real stupid and I need some re-assurance.

This past Sunday I was going to adjust my coilovers. I am startingto take the lug nuts off starting with the wheel lock and snap broke the wheel lock key. I was like WTF (damn i'm strong )
I know I undid the lock a little, but not enough to retighten.

I get to work monday call Mcgard to overnight a new wheel lock and wheel lock key.

Tuesdays I get the lock and Key go to my car to put them on. I notice one of the lug nuts are missing, and the other 3 lugs/1wheel lock are real real loose. If I was driving any longer my wheel/tire would have come off. Since I lost a lug nut I put the other lock on the the wheel and tighten everything down with a torque wrench. So now on that wheel I am running 2 locks and 3 lugs.

My question is: Driving for 2 days or so what could I have damaged? What should I check for tonight when I go home and remove the wheel? The car seems to drive fine, just the ocasional slight steering wheel shake at certain speeds (it has always done this since I have put on my 19 inch Volks). If it matters, the lug nuts and wheels locks are the Mcgard ones that there was a group buy on.

TIA

Check your wheel for fractures around the lug holes and inspect the threads on your spindle for cross threading or other damage.

my friend had this problem, but worse. It was a civic with 4 bolt pattern. 3 lug nuts were missing, either fell off or stolen. He drove the car maybe a day or two. Put other three lug and snapped all three bolts. The 3 lug holes on the wheel became oval from the grinding.

Having the weight distributed between 4 lugs versus 1 luck for your friends civic is totally different. I've drivin around for a few days with 1 lug missing from a 5 lug setup and never ran accross any issues. YMMV.
